About Us

Our Vision

To deliver cost effective, efficient and sustainable solutions to the Music Retail and Music Distributor industry.

From the Beginning

soundDrop has been developed as a direct result of first-hand experience of the issues Independent Retailers face in their daily operations. Having taken over the long-established store, Record Corner, Phil, together with his business partner Michael, have designed a system with the objective of relieving retailers of the onerous task of dealing with the plethora of product information that hits retailers’ inboxes on a daily basis via catalogue spreadsheets. Both Phil and Michael have had long careers in the IT Industry and set about using their skills to design a system that would alleviate these issues, but also drive efficiencies across the board - the ordering process, the pre-ordering and the capability of increasing sales by knowing the product data better. The system is also designed to connect via APIs to supplier systems, thus enabling the potential to have all product data real-time and eliminate the need for either Suppliers or Retailers to send spreadsheets at all.

At soundDrop, we know the pain-points retailers and suppliers encounter and the modular system seeks to address them with a secure, fast and comprehensive software solution.

soundDrop Solutions

soundDrop is a secure cloud based modular system, which can be accessed on any PC/Mac via a URL and secure logon. The system consumes all supplier product information and enables the retail user to return data in a readily accessible format from all the supplier information. It is a one stop shop for product source information.

soundDrop Opportunities

soundDrop can transform your business by making the searching and ordering of product information quick and easy. There is no further need to access, filter, search or save spreadsheets. soundDrop also gives retailers the ability to compare information week on week or day on day, from all suppliers, so that price changes or availability numbers are easily captured. This can enable retailers to sell items that they do not physically stock, as the managing of the out of stocks for example is much easier to negotiate.
